I live in San Diego and there are a ton. From what I see here 90% of them are drunks and/or drug addicts. When I worked at a grocery store at least 15+ homeless would be stealing alcohol or drugs from the pharmacy section. When people would give them money they would go and buy the 2 dollar beers. Never seen a homeless buy food or a drink that wasn't alcohol. They cuss you out If you walk by them, I've been threaten to be killed by them etc Now I know not all of then are line this. I talked to a couple who were the complete opposite of what I've said but this is my experience with them where I live. So i honestly could care less about them nor so I feel sorry for them that they can't stop a drinking or drug addiction that got them there in the first place
