The exotic hunter gauntlets that are currently available to us are very lackluster. Aesthetically, they are awesome. The Spine of Young Ahamkara gauntlets are very cool to look at, but the perks are seemingly useless. The Don't Touch Me gauntlets are great for the abyss or a quick getaway, but aren't great for other applications. Here is my idea: the throwing knife, seemingly the pinnacle of a gunslinger hunter. (Besides the golden gun). Now the throwing knife is amazing and with the Knife Juggler perk, hitting a precision shot makes them so much better. Or having Incendiary Blade slowly do damage over time makes a body shot worth the risk. Not everyone uses the Gambler's Dagger perk, perhaps they use Chain of Woe or Over the Horizon. These new Gauntlets would allow a Gunslinger Hunter to gain an additional throwing knife to make room for either of those perks. The second perk in these gauntlets would allow the throwing knife to be thrown faster and further. Who likes to wait and aim up a shot and maybe hit a target? Allowing a throwing knife to be thrown faster would allow for quick reactions in the PvP or tight situations in PvE. There's one last perk that may be stretching it, but here it is: hitting a non precision shot has a chance to return a throwing knife directly back into to the slot. Let's say that you are looking for hitting those precision shots for the 'It's All in the Head' bounty or need to ensure a headshot on a low tier enemy... But you miss, you hit the shoulder or center mass and now you have to wait for a cool down. Nevertheless, hitting those shots could potentially return it back to it's rightful place. Let me know what you think, is it a good idea or is it trash? Tell me what could potentially make it better or how to improve it. It's just an idea that I had to share.
