“What about Commendations?”
So according to the weekly update the commendations go away for HoW and you will get 250 rep for each one you turn in.
So I had to grind to get 2500 experience for each level up and I will only get 250 rep per turn in. So it's the equivalent of two maybe three bounties. Wow..don't give us too much Bungie.

Not required for purchasing, plus we get rep for turning them in? Good enough for me. I have enough stocked up to go up 2 to 3 ranks, get some packages and new gear.
