I am totally stoked about HoW. Gun smith has a new job! Speaker has a new job! All my gear and weapons can be upgraded without resetting my progress. New content, new weeklies. Bungie addressed a lot of wants with the last update and the upcoming HoW. Yes I know they haven't addressed everyone's wants and concerns, but they really went after it this time.
