Sounds like another case of bungie telling us we're playing the game wrong...oh no you cant do that, it makes too much sense !

Usage of ledge / rock crop to gain an elevation vantage - check Usage ledge / rock crop to ensure safety from enemy fire - check Usage ledge / rock crop to have unobstructed view of the area - check Usage of a weapon designed to kill from a distance (aka sniper rifle) - check Applying and using a sound tactical strategy to defeat enemies - check What's this crazy talk about using a sniper rifle in an acceptable manner under the right conditions? Next thing you know Bungie will tell us that we can't use a shotgun as primary CQC weapon. (oh wait, I think they already did)
