I did it three times without using the spot under the stairs. Its not impossible. The guy i was with insisted on using it but i just cant. A personal choice. I dont need it.

I applaud you, and I'd rather be able to do it w/out being cheesy. Now I see that there are some good strategies to get it done w/out hiding under the stairs. I don't hide under there when I do this strike on normal, but just found it really hard with these modifiers. I guess some people have a different definition of "cheese" - to me, "cheesy" = "cheap" but not "cheating".

I like to use the crates on the top level of the left side. U can use the support beam to block his fire. You only have to drop down when the yellow shield guys come but when they drop down you can go right back up there.
