My buddy keeps saying it's the best way to kill the Oversoul. True or False?

5 RisposteIs blackhammer really that great for it? I mean it only holds 3 shots, is it implied that you have the perk for fast reloads on oversoul or does that not matter? I usually empty my oversoul edict then switch and shoot 3 black hammer shots or vice versa, would I be better served just using the black hammer?
