It's not even a big of a deal. If you have range last word can't compete depending on the user. When xur sold it, I expected to see it a lot more in crucible but I didn't. You actually have to get used to it. I sucked at first but now it's my primary in close quarters. If it gets nerfed then i don't even know anymore. Crucible is so broken and unbalanced
