By constantly switching from aiming down sights and going to hip fire you gain both benefits but it is extremely unnatural to aim. If someone can constantly pull that off it's a feat in and of itself. Plus TLW has terrible range and becomes a pea shooter at longer than medium ranges. Stop rushing in, I always use Thorn and almost always beat TLW users as long as I don't run at them.
