PSA: If you use The Last Word, you're cheating.
The Last Word is one of the most powerful weapons you can encounter in the Crucible. So powerful, it can kill you in less than a second (That's like a heavy weapon killtime). Often times, it doesn't matter if you get the first shot off; The Last Word user can just turn the battle the around in the blink of an eye without any real effort.
I've been told by multiple users that the eponymous perk the weapon has is actually bugged. The extra precision damage applies not only to hip firing, but aiming down the sights as well. That means that people who use this weapon are exploiting a glitch in the game to their advantage, which means they're cheating.
Look it up. Last time I checked the Xbox Live terms of service, exploiting unintended elements in a game to your advantage constitutes cheating. I'm sure PSN has similar terms. Bungie is no stranger to banning people for this sort of thing; Achronos himself stated back in the Halo 2 days that the use of the button glitches in that game in Matchmaking was cheating and a bannable offense.
I'm sure some of you (probably the people who use the gun) will start calling me names, saying that I suck or am a sore loser, yadda yadda yadda. But it doesn't really matter; the terms are clear. If you use the Last Word in Crucible in that manner, [i]you are technically cheating.[/i] There's no if's, and's, or but's about it. You are cheating.

Considering ive been using this gun both in pve and pvp for upwards of 6-7 months, i can assure you that hip fire does far more damage aiming. I dont know where you got your information about it bugged, but your crybaby argument is flawed.

That's not a bannable offense. You literally cannot avoid the bonus damage unless you don't ads. You can call it what you want, but nobody will get banned.

You sir are an idiot. The gun functions as it should as far as I'm aware. I've certainly never seen Bungie acknowledge any bug in the guns perk. Would you care to share where you came by this information that it's bugged/glitches or whatever? You clearly suck at the game and rathe r than acknowledge that you come on here crying and calling people cheats with no real basis for your claims. Quite frankly it's pathetic and I think you really need to grow up

3 RisposteI don't think people realize how not easy to use TLW is. Yes, it's TTK is incredible at face value but you'd be surprised how small an 8 round clip feels when you go up against 2 people. Trust me, I get it, getting dropped by TLW is frustrating but it's by no means cheating even with your flimsy terms of service argument. I've never noticed this ADS glitch you speak of either.

With a bit of "Patience and Time" you'll understand people have different levels of skill, some good enough you think you died from a "Dragon's Breath" or the "Thunderlord" himself (Thor, Ironmans still better) dropped in from no where, to where all you see is "Red Death" and that's the "Truth". So in the mean time, try bettering yourself, that starts with removing that "[b]Thorn[/b]" from your butt first and just play. Didn't mean to drop some "Hard Light" on you as if there's "No Land Beyond" but for things to get better, you to remember that if the first few things didn't pan out, there's always a "Plan C", and one day it'll be as if a "Universal Remote" just turned up that skill for you. That's "[b]The Last Word[/b]" for me.

Yeah man, you're totally right. Using a gun they give you in the game is bull shit. Somebody needs to do something about this. I mean, at least keep yourself at a massive disadvantage by never aiming down the sights to make things fair. So true. They need to put a clause in that allows everyone except TLW users to aim down the sights. And if they dare zoom in and capture better range and accuracy while taking down an opponent, ban them! Complete logic in this post. Just stellar observation.

Lol the last word isn't that hard to avoid, just don't go in all gung-ho, take precautions, be a cautious player. I used to use it, but personally prefer thorn as a hand cannon, but generally prefer my red death. After the pulse rifle buff red death is super op, that's just the truth, but I still love to use it.
