You take the same damage as a Lvl 30 if you're 32. You're right about the weapons however.

I'm not sure I agree. I've gone into raids from doing bounties where I'm wearing gear that I was leveling. So I'm down to level 30 or 31, and forget to put on my "32 pants". One Praetorian pound, and I'm dead on the plate. Put on the big boy pants, and I can go a couple of rounds with him. I've never tested numbers, so maybe it's mental, but wearing 32 gear, I'll hold the left plate alone. Anything less, I'll need a hand (or at least eyes on my backside so I can shotty the Minotaurs).
