Also typically, yes I said typically so don't give give a retarded "but" or "what if" response, if a person is 32 or even 31 chances are they have better weapons because they have simply had to run Crota to get the gear meaning a better chance of having decent weapons.

Fatebringer is better than Word of Crota. Sure it has more damage (like it matters), but Fatebringer is the better weapon. I'd prefer that they have VoG weapons with Oracle Disruptor than something that does more "damage".

On hard mode, Fatebringer is a no no during the Oracle phase for both the Templar and Portal Teams. That and one blast from a shotgun at point blank kills off Oracles faster than any other weapon with or without Oracle Disruptor. Shotguns are also good if your in the portals, just jump and one shot an Oracle.

Shotguns used to take multiple shots to kill and Oracle before they buffed them in PvE. During the Atheon fight, the oracles are to high up to shotgun efficiently (if you don't one shot, you are wasting time by jumping). And you can still use Fatebringer for Oracles. Sure Vision of Confluence and Praetorian Foil work much better, but it's still doable. It's particularly useful fighting the adds that spawn during the Conflux waves and Oracle fight (assuming you don't go back to the top to snipe). Plus it kills supplicants faster.

Plus Fatebringer is better...SITUATIONALLY. if you are fighting phototh and just shooting at phogoth, word will do more dps, sorry.

Now for some real super good advice: [spoiler]Stop using primaries on bosses. Snipers and heavy weapons are what you should be using.[/spoiler] If you used either Fatebringer or Word of Crota on Phogoth, they would both suck. Fatebringer is better for clearing adds. Even my Devil You Know is better than Word of Crota.

You're right...Super Good Advice is garbage on Atheon. What was I thinking. And I know plenty of people with 2500+ grimoire that are just awful. You can't judge how well someone is until you've played with them, but gear can at least carry the less skilled ones to a degree.
