You do the same amount of damage as a 30 if you're a 31+ but you take less damage so therefore it makes it harder for you to die. With that being said, 27-29s can do VoG on hard but they just have to be alot more conservative about taking damage, therefore it takes more skill to complete and be an asset to the team. Imo neither the VoG or Crota are hard at all, you just have to know what to do and have decent weapons. Tldr: People need to relax when it comes to light levels.
