Is Surplus Perk a Joke?
So I was trying to compete the SGA Exotic Bounty and got to the 500 Machine Gun kills part. "Oh good! I'll use my new Jolder's Hammer with Surplus. I won't have to waste any synths."
15 minutes, a bunch of waves of hive and a completed bounty later and I got one, uno, singular heavy drop. I used 2 synths just to get it over with faster. Is this the norm for this perk because right now it is feeling pretty worthless. I don't expect ammo to drop from every kill but one heavy in 15 minutes of continuous kills seems kinda broken to me.

Just do The Wakening and kill the waves of cursed Thrall that spawn after you encounter the first Shrieker. The whole thing is over in a couple of minutes and you won't have to use a single synthesis regardless of kind.

Could someone confirm, surplus wont gift extra ammo in pvp? Ive been trying to find something definitive on the subject all morning, but the interwebs are showing mixed responses.

Heavy ammo for days. Love my hammer.

SGA: if you have a special and a heavy with surplas equiped at the same time the two perks will stack and you'll get more ammo. I get about 140 per heavy crate for my jolder hammer without ruin wings.

1 RispondiSurplus doesnt cause more heavy to drop. It gives double the ammo per heavy that drops. The surplus perk on a sniper will have the same affect on heavy. It's a great perk for PvE.

With surplus and ruin wings, my corrective measure gets about 250 shots per heavy ammo pack. It's insane. The max amount of ammo is about 300 rounds I think.

It's not a great perk, but it does work. It's just not nearly as dramatic as ruin wings or your hopes

I get more heavy's from grenade kills then any weapon I have.

1 RispondiMan I swear my Against All Odds with surplus gets more heavy drops than any other heavy I have. Like there's 4 that I can see with just a normal amount of enemies. I know there are more per brick, I just see a lot more bricks with it.

2 RisposteSurplus increases the amount of ammo you get per brick you pick up, not how many drop. Only Ruin Wings increase the number of heavy ammo drops
