I just swap arms until the it's visible in the character model, and switch back. It seems to reset it. I could be wrong but it's a fairly consistent fix I've done. I've got thunder lord recently and had a 45 min span using it consistently with heavy drops. I used it like a scout doing head shots. Mobility sucks but it was fun enough while chillin doing bounties. It's not as sustainable in strikes.
