I dream to fly...my ship!
I’ve got a huge amount of work for you Bungie but if executed will give Destiny a significant boost of credibility IMO.
- Make our ships pilotable instead of useless baubles!
New game types
- Imagine running the Reef blockade in your own ship to start a new Raid or PVE?
- New limited time crucible events of Race and defend/attack the dreadnaught!
This would create a new shipwright economy
- Speed
- Armour
- Manoeuvrability
- Armourments
- Upgrades
Worth investing in I think

2 RisposteThey've done space combat with halo reach so there's no reason they can't add it to destiny. Imagine a strike where you protect the reef from enemy ships and then have to board the enemy mother ship with your fire team and continue on foot to the boss.

Incredible idea i always wished the sparrows had weapons nothing actually useable in the sense that u could roll up w like a pike an waste enemise just a charcge weapon like a line rifle u could just maybe pop a dreg w on ur way to the hellmouth & practice timing & accuracy while ur deiving especially w thesenew queen bounties being a dayhike thru venus just to lay waste to a servitor

amen! i posted a similar post, and copy paste is my best friend, so here was my post! "aways thought, since day one, nore should have been done with the ships. here are a few examples. make ships have different engines or jump distances, requiribg a more expensive ship or upgrade to get to further planets. make them withstand different temps as you get closer to or farther from the sun. create a playable minigame type travel sequence similar to Kingdom hearts. if you fly to a different planet, you have to fly through an enemy wave. your ship could take damage, requiring you to pay to fix it. have a race type mini game where improved engines and thrusters improve your speed, and you can shoot other players to slow them down (in this mode ships would take no damage.) any other ideas how we could get more game out of our ships?"

1 RispondiThey could make a system like in Battlefront 2 where there are two space carriers and you have to destroy them. Maybe a PvE version where you have to destroy a Fallen Ketch or some Cabal warship. PvP would be two simulated super carriers (kinda like a Titan from Battlefield 2142)

Bungie is having a hell of a time adding a few measly slots to our vaults or keeping sword from materializing, and your asking for a galactic space battle? I'm not saying it wouldn't be cool as shit, but let's knock out the Glass Joe's before we take a swing at Tyson.
