Got to crota on hm last week picked up a random from here and he asked if he could go get the chalice, worst thing was he had nothing to regenerate his health no suros/red death or even a helmet that regenerates health through picking up an orb, it was his first time completing crota hard mode to be fair, he died (luckily before we went out and activated the boomers)
