For those who don't believe in evolution...
It really isn't a debate, evolution is a fact. Its not subject to belief or disbelief, its reality. A scientific theory is a proven hypothesis. Evolution is a theory, just like Gravity, and Cells are "just a theory". Micro and Macro evolution are fake concepts invented by creationists in order to debunk it. Clearly, that did not work. Evolution has been directly observed in animals with short lifespans like fruit flies. If you are going to reject direct, peer reviewed observation, yet trust in the bible, or the Qur'an or any holy book. You are creating a double standard. The burden of proof is on us, and it has been met time and time again.

Edit: I'm gonna rewrite this post as I don't like the message it is portraying and some of the feedback it has received. I just don't personally like how it was wriited and the circumstances it was written in check back in a couple hours for the new one.

Is there something wrong with believing that over time, less capable individuals will die out and more suited individuals will live on, [b][i]AND[/i][/b] believe that God created the universe? 7 RisposteJust a different perspective here. I am a Christian, but I do not deny the [i]evidence[/i] of that of evolution. However. I believe to the core that such [i]adaptability[/i] was given to the living entities of earth in the short term as a way of making different environments livable. I do not, however, believe in the concept that humans evolved from a lesser species but rather were given those same gifts to adapt to the planet we live. As far as the Big Bang and such that people seem to want to relate to the evolution theory, I personally believe it was engineered by God if it happened. Evolution was founded by a second means of understanding what we are and the earth around us and its species, but when I learn and discover the different amazing things on earth I think of it as discovering what God has created and all that goes with it. And in that there are no holes. I posting this here because it's already a rage thread, just posting my perspective.

16 RisposteI am a Christian but I believe to some extent evolution is real. In the sense that animals do adapt and so do humans and that adaption can change us over time. So do I believe that we came from monkeys and stuff like that? No because how come as the Worlds temperature has worsened or things have gotten worse have we stopped evolving physically?? I'm sure when God created mankind (in my views at least no hate on you if you don't think the same that's your choice) we were a bit different, but we weren't monkeys or anything. However there is proof that some evolution has occurred. The way I think of it is the world started as a blank slate. The world was Pangea and then the earth was flooded by God and so everything spilt up. That's obviously true and there's fossils in mountains of animals that shouldn't be there. But mountains have formed, animals have changed, but not to the extent that some scientists, and atheists, and scientologists say. They aren't wrong but it isn't as huge of a change. TL;DR evolution is real but only on a minor scale and because of God starting human kind. This is my opinion and views on the subject you are welcome to have your own and I mean no disrespect to anyone of other beliefs
