What would be a good idea is if we could save drafts of posts. There's a few reasons for this.
Browsers sometimes redirect when we accidentally hit a link... we don't want to lose all that work.
Some posts require tons of thought and collaboration with others to get the point across.
I know Hylebos made a group called Drafting. I'm not sure if it's still there, because he was the only one in it, but the point of it is so he could work on a draft of a post that he was going to shortly make public. It was saved on the server side so he didn't have to worry about losing it in a .txt file. Plus, it would render bold, italics, links, and the latter so he could debug it. I don't know if he ever did it, but he could have potentially invited others to the group to see his piece and get feedback. He could then critique it to make sure it addressed the things he felt needed to be addressed.
Why not add this to each user's account? Why not implement auto save, like Google Docs does? We could have a button that says "Save as Draft" or something and it would render it, but not publicly post it. Plus we could allow others to see it as a draft and get their feedback via PM or something simple. I know for simple Flood posts this probably won't be necessary but for lengthy Community posts this could be very useful.
Just my two cents.
