The Fallen are actually the good guys and the Speaker has brainwashed us with this "light" interest. The light came from The Fallen. The Fallen slightly stronger in numbers take over the solar system. The Awoken and Humans genetically design a virus to destroy the Fallen, but accidently made The Hive. (hints the comparison between the Hive and Fallen) The Hive pretty much takes over everything on Earth and the Moon. *** Future beings working against the darkness, time travel into the past to destroy the darkness and change the future. These being are the Vex and made from the same light the Exo's were made from. The Traveler is a giant egg that houses a gate (The Black Garden) which sits between time and space. as in religion and other beliefs The darkness tends to trick you to believing it has a good nature but hidden in its actions, lies a more sinister purpose. Overall we're actually the bad guys and we don't even realize it. just my theory.
