Nah Saint-14 was a titan that went on his own personal crusade against the Fallen. He one day just flat out left the tower to go take care of the fallen himself.

Yes he did headbutt that kell but if you read the card he died holding back a horde of fallen that kicked of a big battle which I think was Twilight Gap. Which allowed two other titans/guardians to escape to the city.
