When I was a kid someone stole my bicycle from the public swimming pool. Nobody gave two sh!ts besides my father, who had to buy a new bike.
Nowadays, a kid erases another kid's virtual stuff that has absolutely no real world value, and it's all anyone is taking about for a few weeks.

You know damn well if someone would've recorded that incident of the theft of your bike and posted it on youtube, you would've had a gofundme started for your new, better bike.

I think it's the fact that an adult took clear advantage of an 11 year old. If the 11 year old was something like 19 or 20 instead , it would be a completely different story.
