Had an idea pop into my head and it sort of stemmed from the re-roll of weapons on IB. I for one like to look different from someone else and one of the reasons i have been put off collecting the current raid armor is because the majority of it is ugly and i feel the old VOG armor is better looking. My idea would bring another person to the tower called the vanguard armor smith, you get the current raid armor (say the crota one at this point and then the HOW one when that comes out) and be able to smith it with another piece of armor you have and like the look of, costing you motes of light (makes these useful) and that current raid armor. Example of this would be- Having a your old VOG Raid armor you like taking it to the armor smith spending say 10 motes of light and trading in your raid armor and giving you the light level and the perks that you had from the newest raid armor. The better the gear the less motes it costs but the more inferior the gear the more it costs this could also work for turning blue, green and uncommon armor that you liked (if you did) into legendary with perks and light level of the current raid armor. What do you think? Edit- Shards would from the Radiant shards that are currently being used to upgrade gear
