how long have these supposed exploits been in the game? why hasn't bungie released a quick fix to stop it?

What exploits? If you're referring to the glitch Kermit was trying to do, it never existed in the first place and Kermit knew that. If you're talking about Kermit being able to take control of the kid's screen, that's SharePlay and not something Bungie can actually do anything about. It's Sony's feature.

Didn't even need to give anyone his password. It's as simple as accepting an invite. It's really something I'd only consider doing with long-time friends.
