Where do I even start? Yesterday was actually a really good day. I played about 17 matches to reach rank 1, and only only 5 of those were loses. In only 2 of the 5 loses did I not finish positive...so overall it was a good day. Got matched up with some good, experienced team mates. TODAY, completely different story. I got matched up with people who clearly have never played CRUCIBLE before, let alone IB. Now before I go on, I'm not great in Destiny's PvP. In normal Crucible, I'm about average...namely because I take stupid risks. But something about IB makes me step my game up, and I finish over 2.0 almost every time. (Restrictions being lifted play a part in this as well I'd assume.) That said, despite me being average...I understand how PvP works. I know the metagame. I know what tactics and strategies are needed to succeed. Now some of the groups I was put into today? Novice would be putting it lightly. And there were 31s and 32s I was playing with here. At the start of matches, no one would try to rush Bravo. No one would play the numbers game. Hell, no one would even come to the heavy ammo. SERIOUSLY??? One match I stood next to the heavy ammo for damn near 20 seconds pointing at it and screaming in team chat "COME GET SOME HEAVY AMMO!!!" One of my "team" actually spawned in neat Alpha on Forgotten Shores while I was doing this and runs right out of the cave. No...I'm not bullsh*tting you...he ignored the heavy ammo completely. It was painful today...but I'm halfway to IB rank 2. I'm not rushing because all I want is the Gauntlets. I already have 2 Dark Below scout rifles with the exact same talents as the IB scout up for grabs, plus my Badger has Field Scout...so I'm likely not gonna grind to rank 5.
