I bought destiny in November and have been in love (and addicted) to the game ever since I first fired it up. Not only did I get started late in the game but between my work schedule and girlfriend demanding I actually spend time with her every now and then, I am very definitely a casual player. This last week I completed VoG normal for the first time and have since beat it on both normal and hard on both my characters. Just before i had to leave for work again, I was able to find a group to down Crota for the first time and it was an awesome feeling, but I really want to learn how to run the sword on the raid. As a lvl 31 though, whenever i ask if I can give it a shot, i get passed up for someone who is level 32 instead. I get it, 32's deal more damage per sword, requiring less swords meaning less chance for something to go wrong and wipe. I just really want to gain the experience to help the people i play with and eventually offer my service out to other groups on the LFG sites. Any advice???
