How come I can fight the Heart of Crota
without the dlc? Im walking towards the first area of the Devils Lair strike, just wondering, and I see a Hive summoning something.
suddenly, i get trapped in the Wizard darkness circle, and a shit ton of enemies spawn. then, -pop- out spawns The Heart Of Crota.
this just seems to prove that things are in the game for everyone, just locked behind a paywall. this is only a problem for me because, why should i have this stuff on my xbox if im never going to buy it and play it?

Destiny is instanced, which means all players will see DLC mobs spawn in the open world because it's necessary for it do so. In WoW if you don't have an expansion pack that doesn't mean you all of a sudden don't see people because they have expansion armor equipped. Same goes for newly introduced mobs in the general share world. Edit: aw damn someone necro'd
