Why aren't YOU using Shotguns in PVE?
Do share, why don't you use them? And I'd rather have more specific reason than "I don't like them" (which is a valid reason ofcourse), because I'm curious why don't you like them.

There is NO benefit in using a shotgun in PVE, because you could just as easily have taken out the enemy at a safe distance with a scout rifle or sniper. But to use a shotgun you need to go in close, and that is just suicidal - imagine trying that against a yellow mob in a Nightfall with Lightswitch in effect....
