By dismantling it, you’re saying you no longer want this thing. They could give you nothing for it, because you don’t want it. I’d say a partial refund is more than enough.

Not because I dont want it, it will be because some day I will be 1320 and it got capped at 1060.

If you no longer want said weapon, it wouldn’t matter the light and you would dismantle. In this scenario, my point stands that any refund on your investment and time is good since it holds no value to you and you are gaining something from it. If you still want said weapon, you wouldn’t dismantle it regardless the light. Because you’ll always be able to use that weapon in less than end game activities. The two options above are not specific to you or certain weapons. It’s a yes or no. And if you believe 16 enhancement cores are too much for something sunsetted to 1060 making them not viable for some activities in the future, don’t spend it. But let me ask, would you make the same argument for this season’s weapon which are good for a few hundred power levels more, even though they also have a cap?
