As far as I know, this computer is the only computer connected to my network. I have an old laptop, but I rarely use it (I highly doubt it's a culprit). However, since I'm not very tech savvy, I can't be completely sure that I am the only one on the network. It is a home network, password protected, and recently set up by Xfinity at a new residence. I'm the only one with a computer here.
However, while troubleshooting, I heard something about Xfinity modems serving as "home hotspots" that any Xfinity user can log into. Perhaps someone in my neighbor is playing Destiny 2 while using my "home hotspot" WiFi. Is this relevant?
Edit: According to the Xfinity website, my device doesn't support public hotspots, so that concern can probably be disregarded. They could be lying, though.
Edit: After poking around some more, I'm not sure if my previous Edit is correct. I will keep looking into this.
Edit: It turns out that "home hotspot" is enabled on my modem. I can disable it, but if I return to the webpage, it says that the hotspot is enabled. This might be responsible for my buffalo error.
