I'm on PC. As a veteran of the Souls games it was unfortunate that I died to the first boss (once). Though that was mainly due to me getting confused over the controls and chugging two estus at full health. The killing blow was me not knowing how to use my talisman properly and just standing there awkwardly as he killed me with a lunging attack. The Herald also has a garbage starting weapon (spear).
