First and foremost, thanks to everyone who puts on a uniform and sacrifices their own safety, well-being, and time with family and friends in service to their communities, their homes, and the general welfare. Genuinely, from first responders to veterans of the armed forces, you do what many of us cannot, you answered a call to a higher duty that many of us simply never hear. So long as you execute your duties faithfully and to protect others, you’ll always be heroes. That said, respectfully, though you deserve more credit and appreciation than most of us civilians can rightfully demonstrate, there are those serving who currently face discrimination from their brothers and sisters in arms (or no longer currently serving because of discrimination recently passed into law in certain countries) simply for existing as a member of one of the communities celebrated during Pride Month. I’ll gladly stick up for all of your rights to be recognized and honored, as soon as the same can be said for those who serve with distinction while under discrimination. And, in case this does get pulled down and I get banned because of it, once again, thank you all for your service, and God bless.
