Try out Diablo 4. That should give you that same excitement that D2 does/did. Theres a reason why a large D2 player base is playing it. While it looks different at first glance, youd be surprised at the similarities.

Edited by Sir_Latvia: 6/22/2023 7:20:04 AMI dont support Blizzard but Diablo 4 is really good. The game hasnt even started its seasons yet and they are already addressing issues with patches, have done a few balancing updates too. A lot of different builds to try for different characters. You can respec easy as well, whenever you want. Respecing just costs gold and you get all your skill points back. Great cinematics, good story and also the devs have pretty much confirmed they will add a 6th class at some point. Obviously it has its own negatives but the devs are trying to address as much as they can as far they have demonstrated.

That does sound good, I do need that new game to replace d2 with that fun grind

Edited by Sir_Latvia: 6/22/2023 8:06:31 AMYou also get legendary gear that has aspects which are basically exotic perks. They can modify and alter your abilities from minor to major ways. And theres also random effects too.

Edited by Sir_Latvia: 6/22/2023 9:03:08 PMYeah you can pick whatever character want as they can all do the campaign just fine. However just a heads up that druid and barbarian do have a slower and weaker start compared to the others. But as an upside, they both do become really strong at end game once you get relevant legendary stuff with good aspects. So they are better as an alt character class. But i did my first as druid and wasnt that tragic. So really just do the class you think is the funnest or coolest! There is also an overleveling system, transmog system etc but I wont go into detail too much. Will be just information overload. Just a helpful tip. There are realm collectibles in the world map that apply collection bonuses such as extra permanent stat bonuses for all characters, even ones you make later. So to keep it easy to keep track of what you collect, try and collect all of it on 1 character. Because if you make a new character, even though your account has the collectible bonus already, on other new characters it wont be show on the map and you can recollect it. It gives exp and area reputation points but the bonuses are already applied if that makes sense. So to avoid collecting the same ones, do them all on 1 character and once done then you dont have to worry about it on other characters unless you need a bit of extra exp etc.
