While your evidence seems good your after release sampling is missing a key population... Those who are happy with and busy playing the game. Before release this population has time and the desire to post in the forums, after release they are filling their time with gameplay. They are talking to friends in game and feel no need to post. That leaves the dissatisfied to come back to the forum and post their rants without the threads being counterbalanced by the satisfied.
