I see it more as a short-term treatment option. Yeah, you may feel great while the high is in effect but what happens when it wears off? Are we going to subject these people to be high all the time? A smart and long-term solution would be something like counseling where somebody could develop skills in order to deal with their condition and live a life not bound to be in a different state of mind

  • You think counseling hasn't been in place for this a long time now? PTSD is serious and even with counseling, Veterans do NOT get the help they need.

  • I'm well-aware that counseling has been in place for a long time and aware how serious it is. My dad is former Navy and while he doesn't actually experience it, he knows of others that do. I think advancements in counseling and the psychology fields ought to be the priority here

    Funding for this priority of counseling is what should be in question. Not other studies that are willing to find alternatives to helping people who have little to absolutely no help.
