I never pirate my music but I don't care if other people do, considering I've known these facts since forever. I actually know a lot of small artists who encourage people to pirate their music (or they offer most of their music for free.) The idea is getting your name out there.

  • Exactly, Ed Sherran said he is happy people are pirating his music because that means those people might turn into paying customers. The guy who made Hotline Miami helped the pirates patch the game so they can play it even though they didn't buy it so they might consider getting the next one.
