The chest piece on this armor is bad
Cool future armor and suddenly random medieval armor

I agree, it really clashes. There's so many other examples of it being done cohesively that I think this is mainly a case of bad mixing and matching armor permutations. It's the pristine look of the white and gold chestplate against all the geometrically patterned blue shades. -
To be fair, it's future armor that looks like medieval armor. Also, IT LOOKS REALLY -blam!- ING COOL, SO GET OVER IT

It's an opinion, so no, you can get over it. Or don't, no skin off my ass. Doesn't change how I see it or how anyone else does, but to be fair, you can still try better at convincing people besides stating the obvious. -
You don't have to use more medieval styled armour; there'll be plenty of variants so you can look how you want.

Edited by Froboy: 3/30/2013 7:36:46 PMYeah, what? This game is supposed to be a "mythic sci-fi" anyways, as stated in the GDC video. They're going for a mix. And if you don't think this is cool then you need to expand your imagination. :P

Mythic Sci-fi Mythic Myth Destiny = Myth reboot

Edited by Froboy: 3/30/2013 7:37:41 PM*shrugs* I don't think that's what they're going for. In the GDC panel they were talking about how they were going for a medieval game at first but then they decided they wanted the lore and myths of a medieval game in a sci-fi. Hence, "mythic sci-fi."

If you think that is bad I ask you to reflect on your definition of "Cool". For all we know this could be come form of ceremonial armor, hence the term "legendary". Or it could hint at some form of armor customization with emblems.
