How long have you had it? I've had mine since last summer, through a semester and a half of college, and it's doing just fine.

I don't think there was a warranty for it and it shouldn't be ripping, not with the several books and Laptop I was carrying. I also saw 1 or 2 bad reviews about it after I bought mine
