As a freshman Com Sci major, I only just recently started coding and the two entry level classes I've taken were focused on Java. I believe my next class in the fall will introduce me to C++ though.

  • Pretty awesome. I was started on VB and Bash, and then moved into Java and C, and finally, C# and Perl

  • I'm planning on focusing on the C languages as soon as I can. From what I can tell, most games are developed with C, C#, or C++, and game development is going to be my focus through my education.

  • Good choice, I am moving deeper into C++ in the coming months, and I am going to start using Unity (which uses C#) aswell.. Join our group if you haven't already dude, and discuss ideas or ask for help there :) It's growing!
