Does anyone know of a good game that does space combat multiplayer well? I have a rather sour opinion of it, but that might be because of the super boring 1 vs 1 matches me and my siblings would have on Starfox 64 or Rogue Squadron. It inevitably turned into a endless cycle where we wheeled around each other and tried to get each other in sight.

Star Wars Galaxies Jump to Lightspeed. SWG was a very good MMO (although many argue that Destiny is not a MMO, I don't care, it's online multiplayer, that's what I mean) and the space battle expansion added even more life and fun to it and make the universe whole for the sake of being Star Wars. I do have a desire for this game to do the same. Support for space battle expansion!

EVE Online if you are willing to trade your soul to become good at the game. You can wield awesome power if you spend many hours on EVE, but if you fail... you will have wasted a good many days playing for no reason.
