You do combat before the puzzles, during the puzzles and after the puzzles.
Where are you not getting to shoot? The puzzles take 30 seconds to a minute max.

Yep there’s still plenty of shooting. I don’t view this as puzzles but more like find the hole, turn into the lightning ball (that apparently is creating cries of motion sickness today) to get to the next spot to shoot more lol.
