I don't even think I want to run the campaign on my alt characters. It's such a slog.

Same here and I'm not even running the Legendary version, so I guess no new Exotic armor pieces for me this season, I was starting to like Matter spark for its ability to destroy ads in a new way and making traveling much quicker, however Bungie lost me with Timed puzzles, almost every puzzle should have 3 - 5 seconds added to the clock (regular campaign) thankfully the gizmo that needed to be charged stored individual charges so I could increase charges before timing out.

I'm running it on Legendary. The combat is fine, the problem is the Matterspark. Enemies can knock you out of way too easily, especially bosses. By the time you get into the Matterspark and get to safety, you're already at half health.
