Nah you are complaining that your melee build needs melee points to work sounds fair to me. This way it won’t 90% on day 1 of this new raid.
Also you say about Titan barricade being like tissue. It’s already that after all the crying and nerfs it got.
Bonk hammer fully restores after pick up too.

The whole point of Gambler's Dodge is to avoid the need for Strength. It serves no other purpose. Just because you don't like the Hunter class doesn't mean that it's good for the game to have it nerfed into the ground.
-
When did I say I didn’t like the Hunter class???? All I said was that if you want a melee build it’s fine that you should have to build into it. You may not like this but Hunters stated by Bungie themselves are NOT the melee class. That would be Titans.
-
It won't once EoF drops unless you build high into melee.
-
The ability itself gives the refund. That’s not changing.

Edited by Forgotten_Anarchist: 6/9/2025 12:26:11 PMThey have literally stated unless you have enough melee points on your armour stats that it will only partially refund the charge.... Just like with gamblers dodge
-
Honestly wont make a difference. Titans are the melee class and most titans I know run 100 melee currently but my guess is 70 will be enough so not gonna change.
-
Edited by Forgotten_Anarchist: 6/9/2025 12:40:52 PMWho specs into str on bonk hammer? Lol it's an instant recharge albeit with an annoying cooldown... My bonk build has as little str as I can get while building into rec and disc. My arc skullfort build is the same due to the exotic and mods I run. Consecration build yes you want str, captain America build (but that just straight up sucks anyway), fletchet storm build is janky AF anyway and can be bugged to not need it either.
-
I never said solar Titan specifically. Just that currently most Titans run 100 Strength. I agree parts of the Titan kit are lackluster. Im just saying with how titans are currently this won’t be to difficult to adapt too (Hopefully)
-
You put titans in a basket as a group and said most run a str build which depending on the build is false lol. It is very build dependent and quite a few builds you really don't need to build I to str because of abilities, mods and fragments.
-
Yeah, I mainly run Titan and have never had 100 stats in strength in any build ever lol.
-
Nobody is going to be able to run 100 Melee or grenade next season. Even with Tier 5 dropping 75+ (Lets say 80) 80*5= 400 5(10 point stat mods) = 450 total points over 6 stats. 150 minimum in Super 75-100 minimum in Health That only leaves 200 points tops in the remaining stats.
-
See I don’t believe that you need to run 150 super. We haven’t truly seen the buffs and nerfs and other changes coming. Let’s just wait for that before summarising what each build will need to be stat spread wise.
-
Super is the one stat I know for certain, has to be high level. Super Stat is the new resilience, if you don't have max, people will start asking why. 100 = 0% damage increase 150 = 22% damage increase 200 = 45% damage increase The only way to justify not using that during DPS is if someone is great at damage without Super.
-
After so many years of intellect and mobility (soon to be weapon) being completely useless and a dump stat they're making them the two most sought after stats to build into when they know we have made sure we don't carry any armour with those stats.
-
Weapons and super will literally be the two most sought after stats due to the buffs they provide ... People will be pushing for either of them to be their 200 point stat and the other their next highest stat. But with the new archetype system coming with EoF it's going to be annoying AF to build into something properly.
-
Again just gonna have to wait to see how different/difficult this new armour system is going to be to build craft with.
-
There is more layers of RNG than ever before with the new system. The archetype system is going to F alot of people and builds over. Archetype, armour set perk, armour tier, armour stat points.
-
I have been wording it like this. If 10 players do the same activities for 10 hours, all 10 of them will likely have a different build at the end. Assuming we do an activity that just drops armor. Lets say I want a Helmet with Bushido armor set. 4 armor sets x 5 pieces of gear x 5 tiers x 6 possible stat combos for each piece. That is a 1 in 600 chance on every drop. Awesome...
-
This only bothers the people that no life the game and want instant min/max build efficiency. Regular everyday players that play for fun just build as we go, give ourselves some gears goals to watch out for and just play for fun.
-
Bungie likes to build content around top tier builds. If the new stats become extremely powerful bungie will either nerf them or buff enemies to be capable of tanking the stats. Which at that point not running the stat becomes worse making it mandatory.
-
I’m just gonna wait to see what they bring.
