It just baffles me why they would steal art for Marathon, when it was an established IP, albeit dormant before Bungie decided to remake it.

Best guess is Barrett took it to get his presentation in front of parsons because he didn't have time. She did it late 2017 & marathon was pitched & passed in 2018. Could be totally wrong though

Lmao what makes you think Bungie would pay for an artist? The fact that Edge of Fate's section in the Monument to Lost Lights is a [i]placeholder image[/i] should be all you need to know about their desire to have artwork.
