I honestly think that's on the upper level of most players at the moment. I haven't looked it up, though.

It's probably not unless the falloff is very very real. I'm like 2039 & my account is only a month old & I've not done any grinding xp at all, just did the basics

I've not been grinding for levels either. But my clan leader does lots of endgame stuff like multiple GMs, dungeons, solo dungeons, legend exotic missions, etc most days, but he's only 2047. You must have been supercharged somehow.

Must get very grindy once you get level 20+, I think I'm +19

At 2020+20 it takes 5.5 million XP for every level gained above that. I’m at 2044, am an aged grinder.

Didnt it used to be 1 million per rank after the artifact cap. I used to grind to level 1000 every season doing bounties, now I can't i don't play nearly as much

I know it's x5 longer now to get a bright engram, worked it out ages ago, so your 5.5 adds up. I just gave up even trying.

I've honestly no idea what the API says. It just feels like it to me, so I could be totally wrong about this. You'll have to let us know if you still head in that upward trajectory.

I remember reading ages ago about how once you hit the season cap so previously 100, then 150 then 200 the xp needed to roll over a level so 200-201 now takes X5 the xp as previous seasons, so you now get a bright engram every 5 levels like before but it now takes 25 old style levels - kinda disgusting tbh & this very likely affects artifact power levelling too. I used to legit grind 1000 every season doing bounties etc but now if I did that I'd not reach 400, maybe not even 300. It's stuff like this that they keep hidden & it pushes people away :(

2050 is currently rank 400 in the world, highest is 2086 - these are probably afk pc players. So it clearly escalates the xp needed after a certain point,likely +20 artifact
