so am i just stuck with that issue of not being able to link another account on my main?

Ultimately yes, you won't be able to change the Steam.

i guess same thing applies to my epic games account if i wanted to change it to one where i own every expansion.

Correct, Steam/Epic/PS are permanently bound to your Bungie.net profile, the only changes you can make now to your account linkage are: - Link an Xbox account, this account cant be unlinked once its linked though. - Link/unlink Twitch
