The Forums are unable to assist with bans or restrictions beyond linking to the appeal form. The reply you received stated:

Which means it was not mistakenly placed and you will have to wait out the remaining time.
[b]The appeal form is for appeals only, they do not answer questions as to why or how long.[/b]
Requests for additional information, such as the length or reason of a restriction or ban, will be disregarded.

I’m confused with, why am I still on restriction. My in game notification said 2 months. It’s been 3 months now. Since when did bungie add on to restriction without a reason?

They do not disclose individual reasonings for restrictions being placed.
