It’s the worst raid in the game. And is the only raid I refuse to touch.

Ngl he’s kinda right, if no players are playing the raid and it has the lowest player count it is the worst raid
-
I HAVE done it tho?
-
1 clear is NOT enough to do every role let alone properly judge a raid.
-
To be clear its one witness kill. Not one time entering the raid. I’ve done most of the raid enough times to know that I’d rather just not play the game than to enter into that raid again. I don’t care if people agree or disagree with that take. For me personally SE is the worst raid in the game. Even worse than root of nightmares.
-
Still only 1 clear from 5 attempts. It took me 5+ full clears to get on my feet in the raid. 100+ deaths from 5 attempts tells me that you didn't really get any good runs in. It still seems like you never gave the raid a proper chance, and are judging it based on first impressions. I think calling it the best raid is a bit much, but it's far from the worst as encounter 1-3 are cool, but drag on a bit, encounter 4 is completely unique and very fun when you learn it, and encounter 5 is pretty cool as well.
-
I enjoy every other raid more therefore its the worst for me. It’s that simple.
-
It's your least favorite raid. Not the worst. And you never gave it an actual chance, which is quite frankly a good enough reason to say that your opinion is misinformed.
-
Edited by TheLastBlackKnight: 4/15/2025 5:48:04 PMIN MY OPINION it is the worst raid. Which is also part of why its among the least played currently available raids in the game. So how about you curb your ego. And I’ve given it more than enough chances to form an opinion even just if you take this account into consideration. I shouldn’t have to say that these things are my opinions. Normal people would naturally assume that this is the case. Also i have VASTLY more raid experience than you so id say my opinion carries far more weight than yours does.
-
Being an opinion doesn't shield your statement from criticism. And the criticism that you haven't given the raid any real chance, said you hated it, and refused to touch it again is incredibly valid. You've been in the raid 5 times total and cleared it once. And from the death counter, it looks like your teams seriously struggled in the raid. You have a first impression of the raid at most.
Also i have VASTLY more raid experience than you so id say my opinion carries far more weight than yours does.
And IM the one with an ego? You're the one who's comparing here to try and get one over on me. We're both very experienced in raiding, but you don't know what you're talking about when it comes to salvation's edge, I do. Like I said, an opinion isn't immune to criticism. And MY OPINION is that you're talking out of your backend.
-
You are NOT “experienced in raiding” at all. You are fairly new to almost all of them. You don’t even have more salvations edge experience than I do. Just on this one account. The only reference you even have for MY experience is pretty much the one time when I was learning it alongside someone who couldn’t comprehend even the basics of verity and caused us to wipe a stupid number of times.
You are NOT “experienced in raiding” at all. You are fairly new to almost all of them. You don’t even have more salvations edge experience than I do. Just on this one account.
That's just blatantly false. I don't know where you're looking, but I have 13 full clears of salvation with that being the raid I have the FEWEST clears of. Most of them I cleared on week 1, and most of the ones I don't happened on weekends I was busy. If you classify 450 clears and titles for all but 2 maybe raids as "not experienced at all" I don't know what to tell you.
The only reference you even have for MY experience is pretty much the one time when I was learning it alongside someone who couldn’t comprehend even the basics of verity and caused us to wipe a stupid number of times.
You're like thiiiiiis close to getting my point. Your first impression of the raid (and whole opinion) is based on 1 guy who probably shouldn't have been raiding and then you never tried again. That's not enough to base a fair opinion on.

RoN is the worst from a design point of view.
-
Yet had the highest player engagement. Meaning it was the most successful per development time spent on it outside reprised raids.
-
Because two people could carry the other four. Successful doesn't mean good.
-
Edited by Zoidberg: 4/14/2025 2:27:03 PMA single player could carry 6 honestly. But that doesn't discount the raid itself. Having entry-level stuff is always a good idea. The only thing wrong with that raid is Nezeracs model and health pool. People just hate on it because contest was easier than other contest modes. You can 4 or less every raid. Does that make them bad? No. It just means some players are better than others. Salvations take regular players almost 3 hours for a completion. That is not okay. We don't have the player base to keep ramping difficulty. I know players who I have raided with for years, and they just have no interest in SE. It's a bad design to make stuff that complicated on top of making it too easy.
-
It discounts the raid as it shows how primitive the mechanics are. People participated because they didn't have to do anything.
-
Done every other raid expect for that one.😔
-
It’s a great raid. One of if not the best they’ve ever made. But for some reason people like you aren’t even attempting it. Hence the post.
-
Surely a great raid would be one people want to do? I guess it depends on your definition of ‘great’. Betamax was better than vhs but nobody used it. So was Betamax great? Dvorak vs Qwerty? Rightly or wrongly people are scared off by the mechanics so that’s an issue. I’ve done it once fully with a group of 5 that knew what they were doing and got to do some of the mechanics. It clearly takes some effort to get up The learning curve - I’d still be predominantly useless if others didn’t know what to do. If The barrier to entry is too high / long encounters / people quitting out etc you can see how that leads to disengagement. Last Wish my favorite - even in vault there are a couple of add clear roles…. (And I guess we never had to do Riven). Even in the last encounter with some RNG you could get those who didn’t know the route to run to warp out early.
-
Nah it’s the worst raid and it’s not even close
-
Edited by BillzFan30192: 4/13/2025 10:46:10 AMNo dude. It isn’t. It has frog and besides VoTD it actually feels like a raid and not a 6 man strike. They could remove the timers for normal mode and keep them for master. Once you learn the mechanics and ad spawns it really not that difficult. The only time it’s difficult is when half or more if the team haven’t done it or even bothered to pull up a guide. Hella people watched over complicated explanations and won’t even give it a go. There’s only Qbraid that even rivals SE. You can’t make a claim that it’s “the worst raid in the game” and then say you refuse to touch it. That makes zero sense.
-
I refuse to touch it BECAUSE it’s the worst raid in the game that isn’t fun. I said nothing about difficulty
-
You’re just acting like a child now about it lol
-
Not really but okay
