In PvE stuff, too many super-bright flashes going off nonstop…makes it very hard for this old tortoise to see much of anything.
In PvP stuff, I know what to look for when hunting ‘invisible’ Hunters…as I play H about 1/3 of the time - bottom tree H.
That said, I’ve seen all classes (H / W / T) do the ‘invisible’ thing, ie, suddenly materialise when radar and my spidey senses tell me that there’s no one there?! 😵💫
Admittedly, excluding the H, which happens nearly all the time of late, the W / T instances happened just a handful in total…and all of the a/m cases also included the presence of members of the S.U.S. Brigade. And I put most of that down to lag / Latency issues; most, not all!? 🧐
For those who’ve been around for a while or play a lot, we know what normal ‘Invisibility’ looks like, just as we know the normal fire rates (rpm) and sounds of familiar weapons. So when we see stuff that doesn’t compute - we ain’t imagining things, ‘cause we know when something or someone is SUS! 🙄
My suggestion, made frequently since way back, is to be able to modify / select the reticle type - red dot / chevron / etc., and to alter the colour / brightness, to acceptable intensity levels.
Yes, I know the reticle colour can be changed…but it’s too weak and ineffective without the ability to intensify the brightness!
The game’s background colours ‘wash out’ the reticle most of the time, then add the nonstop explosions and overblown flashing, and the shenanigans of the SUS Brigade and the ohk never miss invisible ninjas, and there you have it - ‘blinded by the Light!’ 🫣
That is all.
Ease Springs! 😎

What you are saying about brightness is true. Sometimes regardless of invis you can hardly see an enemy. For example, if you are shooting out of the tunnel area on distant shore.
