I legit can hardly see them in many parts of the map.
Really annoying to play against and just gives away free kills. Especially with specials like slugs and fusions being as prevalent as they are.
Edit. To all of you saying that “that’s the point”.
You literally cannot see them IN SOME PARTS OF THE MAP because of the lighting.
If it is meant to be a full invis ability like that it shouldn’t also take you off radar.

1 ReplySo you’d like them to be Semi-Transparent is what I’m gathering

Edited by ForeverLaxx: 4/9/2025 12:46:55 PMBlame Bungie falling head over heels for their Beyond Light lighting engine and applying it to all areas of the game, including areas that weren't designed with it in mind. It's the only aspect of the "invis is broken" argument I'm willing to accept, and it's not even invis's fault -- it's Bungie's "updated" lighting engine.

13 RepliesIt's invise, you shouldn't be able to see it
-
3 RepliesPeople who complain about this type of thing here come off as if the only time they ever die in PvP is from an invis hunter. P.S. I get killed ALL the time while invisible.
-
5 RepliesDo you even know the meaning of invisible?
-
1 ReplySo this invisible guy is... invisible? Man, can't have that can we.
-
1 ReplyPriority targeting should be unlocked if im facing 3 invis scrubs The Cheesecake Factory never thinks of counters when coming up with the NEW flavors.
-
12 RepliesBeing invis and off radar is such a huge advantage it should have a large disadvantage as well. You should take 50% more damage whilst in and for 5 seconds after coming out of invis.

1 ReplyBright Sunlight maps. Mercury

It's often that split second they get the first bullets on you before being able to shoot back. Yes, sometimes I see them coming when looking by coincidence in the right direction but at least as often I don't and then it's usually too late. I can well recall how hell broke loose when OEM got over shield, marking etc but at least it was based on action. Nerfed for good reasons. Here you get an advantage just based on your class ability which literally can be brought up nonstop online. Yes, Titans have a (non movable) wall and Warlocks a (non-movable) well (I hate Lock's Stasis turret, very annoying) BUT you always know where these were spawned. You CAN here the Hunter dodge when they get invisible but then you can only guess. OP ability. Imho. And I understand Hunters defending/justifying it by all means. I did the same was I a Hunter.

Invis hunters: you can literally see us, stop crutching radar!!!!!! ….Bungie nerfs invis hunter’s radar while invis Invis hunters: you gutted the class! How am I supposed to find anyone with 20m radar!!!!! ….invis continues to be dominant PvP class
-
3 RepliesTry being colorblind. I probably can’t see them 60-70 percent of the time until it’s too late
-
I think increasing the actual visibility but decreasing the radar visibility would be a good change

“jUsT eAt yoUr caRtoTs”-all the hunter mains who crutch invis.

1 ReplyIn PvE stuff, too many super-bright flashes going off nonstop…makes it very hard for this old tortoise to see much of anything. In PvP stuff, I know what to look for when hunting ‘invisible’ Hunters…as I play H about 1/3 of the time - bottom tree H. That said, I’ve seen all classes (H / W / T) do the ‘invisible’ thing, ie, suddenly materialise when radar and my spidey senses tell me that there’s no one there?! 😵💫 Admittedly, excluding the H, which happens nearly all the time of late, the W / T instances happened just a handful in total…and all of the a/m cases also included the presence of members of the S.U.S. Brigade. And I put most of that down to lag / Latency issues; most, not all!? 🧐 For those who’ve been around for a while or play a lot, we know what normal ‘Invisibility’ looks like, just as we know the normal fire rates (rpm) and sounds of familiar weapons. So when we see stuff that doesn’t compute - we ain’t imagining things, ‘cause we know when something or someone is SUS! 🙄 My suggestion, made frequently since way back, is to be able to modify / select the reticle type - red dot / chevron / etc., and to alter the colour / brightness, to acceptable intensity levels. Yes, I know the reticle colour can be changed…but it’s too weak and ineffective without the ability to intensify the brightness! The game’s background colours ‘wash out’ the reticle most of the time, then add the nonstop explosions and overblown flashing, and the shenanigans of the SUS Brigade and the ohk never miss invisible ninjas, and there you have it - ‘blinded by the Light!’ 🫣 That is all. Ease Springs! 😎

1 ReplyNot something M&K can do, but I usually use reticle friction in addition to all the other usual things to keep that from causing me to be caught off guard. Plus HDR and a large screen help.
-
1 ReplyUsually u can also hear them, going invis or out of it, but this season it's difficult when like 6 guys are invis in comp or 12 in control. Thx to Bungie's balance policy. So that sound is like a techno song in a match. :)

Barriers really hard to shoot through, until they break, in most places. Rifts really hard to undo in some places.

13 Repliesi mean, isnt it the whole point of being invis to be "hard to see" in the first place ?
